Quest Counseling is a private non-profit Behavioral Health agency which opened in 2003. We provide individual, family, and group counseling to adolescents, young adults, and adults who have substance use and mental health issues. We also offer prevention services, drug testing, trauma therapy, couples counseling, crises intervention, comprehensive assessment and evaluation and psychiatric care. We also operate 2 adolescent transitional group homes: one for females and one for males.

Thank you for your interest in Quest Counseling. This is what you can make happen with a grant of $1,000 to $10,000:

  • Transitional Group Home Support: Food, personal hygiene and cleaning supplies, transportation to get residents to/from school and medical appointments, activities and entertainment that teaches positive pro-social skills
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training: EMDR is an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress. After being trained, our therapists will be able to provide trauma treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD often occurs after experiences such as military combat, physical assault, rape, or car accidents.
  • Financial Assistance for Outpatient Services for Substance Abuse and Mental Health: Assistance with co-pays and medications for clients that need behavioral health services but are unable to afford it, bus passes and gas cards to remove client barriers to seeking services, weekly sessions for Parent Support Group and Diabetes Support Group for children and adolescents with type 1

Our current funding priorities are:

  • Quest House for Adolescent Girls: Quest House is a transitional living program where adolescent girls live in a home-like environment.  Clients are given the opportunity to learn and practice new behaviors that reduce the possibility of relapse and improve quality of life when the individual returns to their own home and community.  Quest House programs include co-occurring treatment for clients experiencing substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
  • Quest House for Adolescent Boys: Quest House is a transitional living program where adolescent boys live in a home-like environment.  Clients are given the opportunity to learn and practice new behaviors that reduce the possibility of relapse and improve quality of life when the individual returns to their own home and community.  Quest House programs include co-occurring treatment for clients experiencing substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
  • Adolescent & Adult Outpatient Services for Substance Abuse and Mental Health: We are a behavioral health agency specializing in outpatient adolescent substance abuse services. We also provide outpatient substance abuse and mental health counseling for adults.
