The Change Point Clinic at Northern Nevada HOPES is home to their sexual health services, including sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing. Appointments are covered by medical insurance (including Medicaid) or charged according to their Sliding Fee Scale. Please contact the Change Point Clinic for appointments and information.

Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood offers STD testing, diagnosis, and treatment, STD prevention, STD and safer sex education, and HPV and hepatitis vaccine education. Some STD testing and treatment services may be covered by your insurance. Please contact the health center for pricing information.

Washoe County Health District
The Washoe County Health District offers Screening/testing and counseling for STD’s, including HIV, if you are in a high risk category.
High risk categories include:
Men who have sex with men (MSM)
People who inject drugs and substance users
Sex and needle sharing partners of people living with HIV
Victims of sexual assault
People with a STD

THE RYAN WHITE HIV/AIDS PROGRAM
The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program provides a comprehensive system of HIV primary medical care, essential support services, and medications for low-income people with HIV. The program funds grants to states, cities, counties, and local community-based organizations to provide care and treatment services to people with HIV to improve health outcomes and reduce HIV transmission among hard-to-reach populations.
