Entering treatment is often confusing.

Here’s how it works.

Evaluations

Your first appointment will typically be an evaluation. This 1 to 2 hour interview helps us determine your specific needs and give you a treatment recommendation.

Evaluations can be required by

  • Employers

  • Department of Motor Vehicles

  • Washoe County School District

  • Parole/Probation/Alternative Sentencing

  • Attorneys

  • Department of Human Services

Our administrative assistants will help you schedule an evaluation. Call them or email today.

First Appointments

Once you have completed an evaluation, or a recent evaluation from another agency has been sent to Quest, you will schedule your first appointment, or admission. This 50 minute session includes signing consent for treatment, financial agreements, insurance information, and release forms, as well as meeting with your counselor or therapist.

Walk-In Evaluations Now Available

With the high demand for services, we have now created walk-in time slots for those who would like to try and get in immediately. We accept walk-ins at the following times:

Mondays - 10am, Tuesdays - 9am, and Wednesdays - 10am

Please arrive 30 minutes before the designated time slot, as these appointments are based on a first come, first serve basis, and there will be intake paperwork to complete before your appointment can take place.

Individual Counseling

Once you are established with your counselor or therapist, individual sessions typically begin. You will meet for 50 minutes weekly, usually at a regular time. We work hard to consider your work schedule and other obligations. As a regular client of Quest, some things to remember are:

  • Copays are due at the time of your visit.

  • Please cancel your appointment 24 hours before the scheduled time if you are sick or can’t make it.

  • We are closed on weekends.

  • You may not attend your session under the influence.

  • We only allow service or registered therapy animals in our offices.

  • Please see our procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic here.
